Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert Gold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eero Niinimaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gold throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A looping hook to the body misses from Niinimaa. Gold does a little dance to reset his feet.
Niinimaa works Gold's body with a nice hook.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gold lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Niinimaa has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Niinimaa and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Niinimaa circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Gold to the canvas! Gold doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Niinimaa keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
