Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Myles Wilko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Longshank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Longshank has chosen duality by slipknot as his entrance music. Myles Wilko had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilko shoots for a double leg takedown but Longshank sprawls well. He's pushed Wilko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Longshank throws a nice outside leg kick.

Longshank lands a left and a right that send Wilko crashing to the mat, dazed. Longshank thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Myles Wilko has been cut.
We've been hearing reports that Wilko has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wilko throws a low kick but it's checked well by Longshank.
Longshank scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Longshank lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wilko backs up against the cage.

Wilko is rocked!
Wilko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Longshank's waist but Longshank gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wilko off to one side.
Oh Wilko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wilko is breathing heavily.

Wilko gets a clinch.
Wilko seems to have got his legs back now.

Longshank manages to break the clinch.
Wilko is trying hard to land a takedown here. Longshank sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Longshank throws a quick inside leg kick.
Wilko takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Longshank sends Wilko crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Longshank is motioning to the referee to let Wilko up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Longshank fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wilko.
Longshank drops Wilko with a huge uppercut! Wilko drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Longshank is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
