Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Millard Cohen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myles Wilko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Myles Wilko was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Millard Cohen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Myles Wilko! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cohen tries to sprawl but Wilko drives through with a takedown into half guard. Well, if Wilko is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Myles Wilko wasn't active enough on the ground. Wilko pushes Cohen up against the cage in a clinch. Wilko manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilko lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cohen! Wilko controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilko working for a submission but Cohen is keeping him at bay. Cohen is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilko working the ground and pound effectively.
Wilko tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Wilko is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cohen has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Wilko postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cohen looks a forlorn figure.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilko has hold of Cohen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cohen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilko is landing with some decent strikes but Cohen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Cohen tries to improve his position but instead Wilko has taken his back! Wilko lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Cohen hold on?!
Wilko slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Wilko's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wilko has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Cohen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cohen is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Myles Wilko dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cohen wants to clinch. Wilko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Cohen wants to sweep but no luck. Wilko showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Myles Wilko was stalling too much, according to the referee. Wilko closes the distance and clinches. Cohen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Wilko pulls Cohen into guard.
Cohen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Wilko wants to stand up but Cohen is controlling him. Cohen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cohen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cohen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilko is controlling Cohen's posture. Wilko manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilko manages to capitalize on a mistake by Cohen to take his back! Wilko patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Wilko controls the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cohen is trying to break free.
What can Cohen do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Wilko is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Cohen defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Cohen is trying to remain composed but Wilko is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wilko throwing damaging strikes from the back! Cohen could be in trouble here!
This has been an exciting period of action! Cohen breaks Wilko's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Myles Wilko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Cohen shoots in and gets a takedown into Wilko's guard. Wilko wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Wilko looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wilko wants to stand and escape but Cohen is having none of it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wilko can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cohen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wilko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cohen has managed to get both his arms back between Wilko's legs - danger averted. Wilko wants to sweep here but Cohen controlling him for the moment. Wilko is trying to control the position but Cohen postures up. The fighters are working up against the cage. Wilko manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Cohen has a couple of punches blocked by Wilko.
Cohen is trying to maintain a safe position but Wilko gets an underhook and turns Cohen into the cage. Wilko breaks the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cohen is defended easily by Wilko.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wilko swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wilko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cohen was covering up waiting for the punch and Wilko finishes the takedown easily into guard. Cohen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cohen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wilko controls the pace. Wilko has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Myles Wilko has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Wilko darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Wilko is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cohen defends it well. Wilko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wilko content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilko is thwarting Cohen's attempts to control the position. Wilko perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cohen tries to get to full guard but Wilko has control of the leg. Wilko tries to pass to full mount but Cohen defends it.
And that's the end of the fight! Myles Wilko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wilko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
