Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kesigan Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Firbino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kesigan Hoost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andre Firbino!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoost tries to clinch but Firbino is having none of it.
Hoost fails with a takedown attempt.
Kesigan Hoost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hoost moves to clinch but Firbino breaks away

and Firbino holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hoost as Firbino tries to tie him up.
Hoost throws a knee to the head but misses.
Firbino doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hoost connects with a nasty looking knee right to Firbino's face.
A frustrated look appears on Hoost's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Firbino is trying to pull guard but Hoost has him pressed against the cage.
Hoost misses with a knee strike.
Hoost is trying to break free.
Hoost lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Firbino decides to pull guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Firbino pulls Hoost in close to his closed guard and prevents Hoost from doing any damage or advancing position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Andre Firbino.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hoost is trying to maintain a safe position but Firbino gets an underhook and turns Hoost into the cage.
Hoost creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Firbino's defenses.
Firbino wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hoost tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Hoost avoiding damage.
Hoost jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Firbino walks away with a smile on his face. Hoost gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kesigan Hoost. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hoost drives through and clinches with Firbino against the cage.
Hoost lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hoost gets through Firbino's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Hoost is breathing heavily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoost won't allow Firbino to pass to mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Firbino is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Andre Firbino will probably get the nod.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hoost looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Firbino circles away from the clinch attempt.
A head kick misses from Hoost.
Firbino sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hoost wants to clinch but Firbino slips to the side
and Firbino counters with a nice kick to the body.

Firbino stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hoost swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Firbino gets to his feet. Hoost looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fight stays on the outside here - Firbino looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Firbino tries for a takedown but Hoost sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hoost fails in his attempt to clinch.

Firbino gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hoost to score an easy takedown into full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Firbino is on top in guard.

Hoost is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kesigan Hoost.
Hoost throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Firbino.

Firbino drives through and clinches with Hoost against the cage.

Firbino looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Andre Firbino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Hoost's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Hoost knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Firbino on the ground.

Firbino drops back looking for a leg! Hoost is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hoost manages to kick Firbino off! Firbino jumps back into Hoost's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Firbino decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hoost to his feet.
Firbino avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Firbino leaves Hoost with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Firbino shoots in and gets a takedown into Hoost's guard.
Firbino passes into half guard.
Firbino keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Hoost tries to kick Firbino off but Firbino keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Firbino takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Andre Firbino wasn't active enough on the ground.

Firbino tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hoost swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Firbino gets control of Hoost's arms and successfully pulls guard. Firbino will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Firbino drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Andre Firbino has got the better of the ground game so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Firbino is trying to get an arm triangle but Hoost is defending well.
Kesigan Hoost has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Andre Firbino is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
