Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Liam McManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitsurin Mizu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Liam McManus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mitsurin Mizu!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mizu blocks a head kick by McManus.
Mizu's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Mizu's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mizu stuffs the takedown.
McManus misses with a head kick.
Mizu uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McManus has time to react.
Mizu throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and McManus counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McManus is defended easily by Mizu.
Mizu scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McManus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mizu but Mizu pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Liam McManus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McManus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mizu pinned against the cage. Mizu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Oooooh!!! Mizu has knocked McManus down with a huge combo! Mizu steps away and waves a wobbly McManus back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
McManus is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
McManus takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Oh McManus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McManus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mizu circles away.
Mitsurin Mizu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
OH! McManus has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Mizu smells blood and charges in for the finish! Mizu unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of McManus sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mitsurin Mizu!
