Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Draven Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gucci Mane!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mane lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gracie moves to clinch but Mane breaks away
and Mane counters with a leg kick.
Gracie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mane manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Draven Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mane counters with a head kick that drops Gracie to the mat! Gracie scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gracie moves to clinch but Mane breaks away
and Mane counters with a nice body kick.
Mane lands a brutal head kick. Gracie looks out on his feet and Mane throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Gucci Mane!
After winning the bout, Gucci Mane thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
