The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for De Oliveira, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
De Oliveira lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mccurdy circles away quickly and effectively.
De Oliveira throws a leg kick but Mccurdy sees it coming and moves out of range.
Mccurdy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mccurdy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
De Oliveira tries to bench press Mccurdy off him but Mccurdy keeps the position.
De Oliveira is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Mccurdy rolls with it to try and escape but De Oliveira cranks on the arm and Mccurdy is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
