Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jim Brawn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Juarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Juarez stuffs the takedown. Juarez tries to clinch there but Brawn circles away.
Brawn tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Juarez counters with a leg kick. Juarez moves into range and clinches up with Brawn. Brawn is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Juarez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brawn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Juarez's waist but Juarez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brawn off to one side. Brawn doesn't manage to clinch there - Juarez circles away.
Nice takedown defense from Juarez. No joy for Brawn on that attempt. Juarez has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Brawn is landing a low percentage of strikes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Brawn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brawn misses with a head kick.
Brawn tries to close the distance and clinch but Juarez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Brawn tries to pull guard but Juarez forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Juarez manages to pull guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Brawn's corner is telling him to maintain position. Brawn throws a strike but Juarez rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Brawn keeping moving, preventing Juarez from controlling successfully. Brawn working a defensive guard but Juarez passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Juarez is keen to just control but Brawn is a slippery customer. Juarez prevents Brawn from improving his position. Juarez is pressing down on Brawn's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brawn is holding on for now. Brawn is looking to improve his position.
Brawn is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brawn looking for a kimura from the bottom but Juarez passes into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Juarez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brawn keeps working. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Juarez is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brawn is looking for a sweep. Juarez working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Brawn looking for a sweep but Juarez has passed into full mount! Oh no! Juarez wants to control the pace but Brawn is squirming around nicely. Juarez raining down hammerfists from mount. Brawn tries to lock up and control but Juarez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Juarez working the ground and pound effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Brawn really wants to buck Juarez off and get back to his feet. Brawn is squirming around, avoiding Juarez's attempts to control the action. Juarez raining down shots from the mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Brawn can't escape the position.
Juarez trying to control but he's not successful this time. Brawn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Juarez on the ground. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Juarez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Juarez cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Juarez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Juarez tries to stall but Brawn uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Juarez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Brawn fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Brawn tries to close the distance and clinch but Juarez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brawn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. Juarez stuffs the takedown attempt from Brawn. Brawn gets slowly back to his feet. Brawn fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Juarez instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Juarez working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Brawn tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Juarez misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Juarez putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Brawn in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Brawn is trying to pull guard but Juarez turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Brawn is trying to push Juarez away but Juarez has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. A left hand lands to the body for Juarez.
Brawn wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Juarez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brawn shoots in but Juarez avoids the takedown attempt easily. Brawn circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Juarez is looking to clinch. Brawn keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Juarez. Brawn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Juarez tries to clinch but Brawn moves out of range. Juarez keeps the fight on the outside. Brawn shoots and misses and Juarez counters with a slapping leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Brawn shoots for a double leg takedown but Juarez sprawls well. He's pushed Brawn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Juarez is looking to clinch. Brawn thows a body shot but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brawn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Juarez fails in his attempt to clinch. Brawn staying out of range there. Brawn shoots in but no luck this time. Juarez forces Brawn back against the cage and clinches. Juarez breaks from the clinch.

Juarez turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! You can see the frustration on Brawn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Juarez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Juarez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Brawn shoots in for a takedown but Juarez shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Brawn lands a body shot.

The fight stays on the outside here - Brawn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Juarez fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Brawn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Juarez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Juarez tries to clinch but Brawn moves out of range. Nice straight punches there by Brawn. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Brawn. Juarez takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Brawn with a lazy takedown attempt and Juarez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Juarez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Brawn fails in his attempt to clinch. Brawn with a poor takedown and Juarez counters with a lovely straight right hand! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Brawn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Juarez fails in his attempt to clinch. Juarez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jason Juarez is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brawn tries for a takedown but Juarez circles away easily enabling Juarez to counter with a crisp jab. Brawn is looking to clinch but Juarez is avoiding it.

and Juarez counters with a good, hard body kick but Brawn shrugs it off. Juarez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jim Brawn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! and Juarez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Brawn fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Juarez moves into the clinch. Juarez pushes Brawn back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Juarez misses with a punch to the body.

Juarez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jim Brawn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brawn shoots for a takedown but Juarez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Juarez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Brawn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Brawn takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Brawn walks forward, straight into a front kick from Juarez. Brawn slaps away a takedown attempt from Juarez, before circling back to the center of the mat. Brawn wants to clinch. Brawn throws a sloppy head kick and Juarez moves out of range easily. Jim Brawn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brawn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jim Brawn. Well Juarez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
