Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Billybob Brubaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, William Wallace!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace goes for a double leg but Brubaker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Brubaker continues to drive forward.
Wallace looking for a takedown.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Brubaker is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Billybob Brubaker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Wallace.
Brubaker lands a nice shot to the body.

Wallace's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wallace shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brubaker as he jumps to the side.
Brubaker lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like William Wallace has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Horrible takedown by Wallace or perhaps it was just good defense by Brubaker which made him look bad.

Wallace tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brubaker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wallace somewhat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wallace misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've been told by Brubaker's head coaches at Steel Penn/Heavy Hands Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sloppy strikes from Brubaker. Those never looked like landing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oooooh!!! Brubaker has knocked Wallace down with a huge combo! Brubaker steps away and waves a wobbly Wallace back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Wallace is rocked!
Wallace loses concentration momentarily and Brubaker pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Wallace crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Brubaker finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Billybob Brubaker!
