Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Gram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Gram looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jay Gram! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rufus Lee! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gram circles away from the clinch attempt and Gram counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Lee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Lee is trying to drag Gram to the mat but Gram just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Lee changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gram fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gram walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Jay Gram has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rufus Lee. Lee looks for a takedown but Gram sprawls well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gram goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Lee wants to clinch up but Gram keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Lee shoots in looking for a takedown but Gram manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Lee connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Lee tries to clinch but Gram moves out of range. Lee wants to clinch up but Gram keeps it at a distance. Lee closes the distance and clinches. Lee lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gram backwards. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lee goes for a takedown attempt but Gram pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Gram is breathing heavily. Lee misses with a takedown and Gram counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gram. Gram jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lee walks away with a smile on his face. Gram gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Gram, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Gram, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Gram against the cage but Gram circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lee has closed the distance and engaged Gram in a clinch.

Gram leaves Lee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lee wants to clinch up but Gram keeps it at a distance. Lee shoots in for a takedown but Gram shows good takedown defense. Lee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Lee is trying to push Gram away but Gram has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Gram manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gram moves into range and clinches up with Lee. Gram breaks the clinch.
Gram looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lee is looking to stand up but Gram isn't so interested in that idea. Gram postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gram loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gram trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gram accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lee wants to stand and escape but Gram is having none of it. Lee trying to keep a closed guard but Gram is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Gram lands a couple of digs. Gram wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Lee working a defensive guard here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lee is adopting a defensive guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rufus Lee has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Lee stuns Gram with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rufus Lee dominated that round. That's time! Gram's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lee lunges at Gram with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gram's hand. Gram really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A decent looking cross lands there for Lee. Gram misses with a two punch combination.

Rufus Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gram doesn't manage to clinch there - Lee circles away.
Lee wants to clinch. Lee is looking to clinch. Lee tries to clinch up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lee gets tackled into the cage by Gram. Gram maintains the clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Lee. Lee tries to pull guard but Gram won't allow it.

Jay Gram has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rufus Lee. Gram is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Lee is trying to stall.
Lee looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Gram goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lee prevents it.

Gram wants to break free but Lee has control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gram is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Lee is defending well. Lee lands a takedown into guard.
Lee gets to his feet. Gram looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Gram stuffs the takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee. Gram tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lee defends well and Gram ends up having to push Lee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Gram is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Lee is defending well. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Lee. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. This has been an exciting period of action! Lee pulls guard successfully.
Lee wants to stand up but Gram is controlling him. Gram is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gram throws a big right hand that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gram won't allow Lee to sweep him here. Lee has momentary wrist control but Gram slips an elbow through the middle. Gram wants to get up but he can't break Lee's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee striking off his back, scoring a few points. Lee wants to stand but Gram is controlling the position. Gram missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lee looking for a sweep. Not yet Lee, not yet. Gram stands up over Lee, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Gram won't allow Lee to get back to his feet. Lee looking for subs off his back but Gram has passed one foot through into half guard.
Gram is trying to control. Lee wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lee gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rufus Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Gram keeps the fight on the outside. Gram looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well. Gram tries a head kick but it misses.

Lee has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Gram drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lee pulls his leg out and moves away.

Gram backs away looking to recover. Gram keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Gram circles away.

Gram is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lee can't fight it off and eventually Gram manages to take the fight to the floor. Lee looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Lee is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gram wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Gram distracts Lee with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Gram has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lee is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Lee controls Gram momentarily but Gram frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gram pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lee is keeping the position for now. Gram trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom. Lee working for a triangle but Gram defends it easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee pushes Gram off and gets back to his feet.
Gram looking to score a takedown here. Lee is defending well but Gram drives through and ends up in Lee's guard. Gram stops Lee from standing up. Gram will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gram is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jay Gram has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rufus Lee is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Gram connects with a couple of short punches.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Rufus Lee. I've got Lee winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
