A fine choice. Stroud has chosen Septic Flesh - Pyramid God as his entrance music. Oktawian August could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Glenn Stroud's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Glenn Stroud!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
August connects with a nice looking jab.
Stroud walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
No joy there for Stroud, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stroud digs a good hook to August's body.
August seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
August gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Stroud stuns August with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stroud misses with a combination
and August counters with a nice body shot.
Stroud fails in his attempt to clinch.
August throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
August connects with a single shot there.
August staying out of range there.
Stroud waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract August.
Stroud walks into a left hand.
Stroud keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stroud avoids the head kick by August.
Stroud throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oktawian August is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

August lands a nice shot that snaps Stroud's head back.
August moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
August thows a left - swing and a miss!
Stroud throws out a loose jab but August uses good head movement to avoid it.

Stroud fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging August to the ground. Stroud is now in August's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

August is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

August has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Stroud is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for August.
I wouldn't like to be where August is right now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
August managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Stroud.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
August is looking to regain half guard here but Stroud keeps moving and retains side control.
Stroud lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Stroud throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Stroud trying to control the position but August is working away.
August gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Stroud lands with a punch from half guard.
Stroud frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
BOOM! Stroud connects with a massive shot to the dome!
August keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Stroud lands with some strikes.

August is squirming around, avoiding Stroud's attempts to control the action.
August manages to regain half guard. Good work.
August gets full guard.

August looking for a guillotine here but Stroud defends easily.
August is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Stroud is working August over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Stroud trying to control the position from guard on top but August is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stroud has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Stroud won't allow August to sweep him here.

Stroud is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. August is trying to escape and Stroud transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and August is forced to tap! Nice work there by Stroud! Very nice indeed!
