The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Tauber has clasped his hands together around Robinson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Tauber cracks Robinson with a big right hand but Robinson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Robinson can't do much from the bottom here.
The ground and pound from Tauber seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Tauber wants to lay and pray for a moment but Robinson keeps working.

Tauber stands up and beckons Robinson to his feet.

Robinson's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Robinson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Tauber breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Robinson is defended easily by Tauber.

Tauber shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tauber was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Tauber decides to stand up, so the ref orders Robinson to his feet.

Tauber feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tauber connects with a nice short shot to Robinson's temple.

Tauber loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Robinson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Tauber land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Tauber stands and salutes the crowd.
