These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbarossa works Ceasar's body with a nice hook.
Ceasar getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Ceasar moves into the clinch.
Barbarossa misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Barbarossa blocks a body shot from Ceasar.
Ceasar stalling against the cage.
Ceasar throws a head punch that misses.
Ceasar is pushing Barbarossa up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Barbarossa prevents a body shot from Ceasar.

Barbarossa can't find room to land a body shot as Ceasar controls the action.

Ceasar tries to throw a body punch but Barbarossa avoids it by throwing Ceasar back against the cage.

Barbarossa goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Come on Ceasar - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Barbarossa breaks from the clinch.
Barbarossa misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ceasar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ceasar walks into a stiff left hand from Barbarossa.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ceasar.

Barbarossa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Barbarossa throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Barbarossa lands a body shot.
Barbarossa misses with a few strikes there.
Nice uppercut lands for Ceasar. That snapped Barbarossa's head back.
Barbarossa avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Ceasar takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Barbarossa scores with a hook to the body. Ceasar takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ceasar needs to keep his hands up - Barbarossa had a free shot at his head there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Barbarossa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ceasar has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ceasar and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Barbarossa throws a combination that misses
and Ceasar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Barbarossa gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ceasar.
Barbarossa thows a left - swing and a miss!
Barbarossa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ceasar was well out of range. Poor timing from Barbarossa.
No joy there for Barbarossa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ceasar takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ceasar steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Barbarossa.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ceasar dodges the punch combination from Barbarossa.
Barbarossa Rushes Ceasar and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Ceasar is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Barbarossa Piles on the pressure and Ceasar crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frederick Barbarossa!
