Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Kray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, a great song. Nathan James has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of London, Ronald Kray! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by James or perhaps it was just good defense by Kray which made him look bad. James shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kray pinned against the cage. Kray gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. James gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kray can't break the clinch.
Kray jumps guard but James stands there with Kray around his waist. Kray gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kray tries to pull guard but James holds him up against the cage and eventually Kray drops back down to his feet.
Kray wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Kray tries to break the clinch but James is controlling the position. James prevents Kray from breaking the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kray wants to break free but James has control.

Nathan James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronald Kray. James wants the takedown. Kray is fighting it off but James persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kray's guard against the cage. James won't allow Kray to sweep him here. Kray is wriggling around but James manages to pass to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kray is refusing to be controlled, as James sits in half guard. Kray makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Kray. Kray is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
James trying to control the position from guard on top but Kray is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kray wants to sweep but no luck. James wants to pass the guard but Kray is keeping the position. Kray pushes James off and gets back to his feet.
James bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kray sneaks back into half guard. Kray wants to improve his position but James is controlling well.
James wants to control but Kray is keeping him busy. Kray is looking to control James's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kray avoid being mounted? Kray wants to control the action here but instead James manages to pass to full mount! Kray manages to regain half guard. Good work. Kray is defending against the submission attempts here by James.
James is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James wants to stand but Kray has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Kray gets back to full guard.
Kray controls James momentarily but James frees himself. Kray is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Kray is looking to sinch up a triangle. James throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kray's body to avoid the submission. Kray has instead reached around James's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kray arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ronald Kray!
