Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tymon Gorski!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mogul Khan!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorski throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Gorski misses with a straight right.
A combination from Gorski does no damage.
Gorski throws a push kick but Khan slaps the foot to one side.
Gorski stuffs the takedown attempt from Khan. Khan gets slowly back to his feet.
Gorski tries to score with a low kick but Khan moves his leg out of the way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gorski just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gorski closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Gorski scores with a one two! Khan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Gorski throws a right and a left that both miss.
Khan avoids the head kick by Gorski.
Khan checks the leg kick nicely there.
Gorski looks for the body kick but Khan saw that one coming.
Khan ducks under a wild hook from Gorski.

Khan tries for a takedown but Gorski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Khan blocks a leg kick.
Gorski cracks Khan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gorski throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Khan fails to land the takedown.
Tymon Gorski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mogul Khan.

Khan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gorski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Khan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Khan tries for a kimura but Gorski is defending well.

Khan goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gorski has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Khan but great work by Gorski.

The referee asks Gorski politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Gorski prefers to stall for the moment though.
Khan is not content to let Gorski control the position.
Khan is trying to improve his position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Khan looking for a sweep but Gorski has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Gorski looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Khan is looking to improve his position but Gorski isn't that keen on the idea.
Gorski is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Khan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gorski tries to clinch but Khan moves out of range.

Tymon Gorski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gorski misses with a body kick.
Khan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gorski looks to score with a jab to the body but Khan is just out of range.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Horrible takedown by Khan or perhaps it was just good defense by Gorski which made him look bad.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gorski lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Khan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Khan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Gorski swings for the body but Khan moves out of range.
Khan shoots in looking for a takedown. Gorski tries to sprawl out of it but Khan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gorski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Khan counters with a takedown into side control.

Gorski tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Khan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Khan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Khan looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mogul Khan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Gorski is looking to land body kicks.
Gorski lands with a shot to the body.
Gorski throws a nice looking combination but Khan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gorski tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Khan feints and as Gorski raises his hands in defense, Khan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Khan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gorski is keeping the position for now.

Khan is looking to advance position but Gorski has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Khan is in all sorts of trouble here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gorski trying to control but Khan is having none of it.
Gorski fails to advance to Khan's back.
Khan can't escape the position.
Gorski scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Khan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Gorski has control of Khan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Khan regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Gorski looking to control but Khan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Gorski lands a heavy elbow.
Khan really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Khan tries to improve his position but Gorski has taken his back! Gorski has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Khan tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Gorski pushes Khan away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
