Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

23 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Davis!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a head kick but Cox moves out of range.
Cox thows a body shot but no joy.
A slow jab from Davis misses its intended target.
Davis tries to clinch there but Cox circles away.
Cox has been working on his boxing with his coaches at S-1 Complete Fighter Fitness in the buildup to the fight.
Nice defenses there by Cox.
Davis missing with a left hand there. Cox was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Nice shot lands for Cox.
Davis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Davis lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cox's sensitive parts.
Davis throws a body punch but Cox moves out of range.
Davis throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Phil Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cox misses with the combination.
Davis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cox.

It looks like Jasper Cox has been cut.
Cox takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Davis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cox.
Oooh a lovely combination from Davis sends Cox down but not out. Davis dives into side control looking to finish.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Davis moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Davis stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cox moves out of range of the body kick.
Davis throws a head kick that misses.
Davis with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A big head kick from Davis and Cox is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Cox is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis gets to his feet - Cox follows without any prompting.
Oh Cox is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cox get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Cox stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Davis runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Phil Davis!
