5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erick Silvinho! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silvinho is looking to clinch. Silvinho tries to close the distance and clinch up but Woodley swats him away and circles back towards the center. Silvinho tries to move into range but Woodley moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Woodley circles away from the clinch attempt.
Woodley sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Silvinho tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Woodley paws at him with a jab and circles away. Silvinho doesn't manage to clinch there - Woodley circles away.

Erick Silvinho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silvinho tries to clinch up enabling Woodley to counter with a crisp jab. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Woodley throws a big right hand that misses. Woodley scoring with some ground and pound. Silvinho swivels though and keeps the full guard. Silvinho tries to land a sweep but no joy. Silvinho manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Woodley is squirming around, avoiding Silvinho's attempts to control the action. Silvinho misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Tyron Woodley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Silvinho has isolated one of Woodley's arms. Woodley looking to fight him off but Silvinho twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
