Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiao Macale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Macale is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger shoots in and gets a takedown into Macale's guard.
Macale pulls Kruger in close to prevent any damage.
Kruger trying to control but Macale is working from the bottom.
Kruger stays in close to Macale's body and controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kruger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Macale swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kruger passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Macale parries the strikes from Kruger easily there. Kruger is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Macale to escape.
Macale tries to buck Kruger off but Kruger is having none of it.
Kruger tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Kruger is working Macale over with some ground and pound from side control.
Kruger is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Macale will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Kruger wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Macale, who protects the arm well.
Macale is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Macale is trying to control Kruger's posture but Kruger avoids it.

Kruger has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Macale takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Nice uppercut lands for Kruger. That snapped Macale's head back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Macale lands with a cross.
Kruger connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Macale misses with a hook. Kruger ducked under it nicely.
Kruger throws a body punch but Macale moves out of range.

Macale steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kruger.

and Macale counters with a good low kick that Kruger was not able to check.
Kruger fails with a takedown attempt.
Macale tries a head kick but it misses.

Kruger tests Macale's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kruger looks for a takedown but Macale sprawls well.
Kruger walks forward, straight into a front kick from Macale.
A cross from Kruger lands.
Kruger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Macale as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vinicius Kruger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kruger throws a big shot that misses.
Macale turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Macale counters with an inside leg kick.
Kruger is breathing heavily.

Kruger gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Macale.
Kruger misses with a jab to the body
and Macale counters with a flying knee that drops Kruger! Macale dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!

In his post fight interview, Tiao Macale started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
