Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milos Dragan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk comes to the cage accompanied by Winner Takes it All. Dragan has chosen Face The Pain - Stemm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Milos Dragan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lincoln Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Milos Dragan! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dragan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Hawk scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hawk working the head with strikes. Hawk working the ground and pound but Dragan is defending the strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The strikes coming from Hawk are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Hawk thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Dragan felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Dragan parries the strikes from Hawk easily there. Hawk is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Dragan to escape.
The strikes coming from Hawk are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Hawk sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Dragan is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Dragan is trying to get back to half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dragan is trying to control Hawk's posture but Hawk avoids it. Dragan defending against the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dragan takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Hawk prevents Dragan from escaping the position. Hawk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dragan takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Hawk misses with an attempted head punch from side control. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dragan can do anything to dispel that myth. Check out the look on Hawk's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Hawk tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Hawk tries for a kimura but Dragan is defending well. Dragan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hawk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hawk trying to control the position but Dragan is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawk working the ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hawk wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dragan, who protects the arm well. Hawk tries for a kimura but Dragan is defending well. Dragan is not content to let Hawk control the position. Dragan struggling a bit here. Hawk definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Hawk tries for a kimura but Dragan is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dragan managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hawk.
Hawk working the ground and pound. Hawk wants to control but Dragan is keeping him busy. Dragan is looking for a sweep. Hawk decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dragan to his feet. Dragan shoots for a takedown but Hawk saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hawk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dragan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dragan jabs Hawk right on the nose. Hawk blinks but takes it well. Dragan keeps the fight on the outside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawk drives through with a takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hawk missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hawk wants to pass the guard but Dragan is keeping the position. Hawk throws a big right hand that misses. Hawk forces his way into half guard. Dragan gets full guard. Dragan trying to keep a closed guard but Hawk is proving a slippery customer.
Hawk is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hawk looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lincoln Hawk dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Hawk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dragan circles away quickly and effectively. Dragan scores with a jab. Dragan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. No joy there for Dragan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hawk tries to clinch but Dragan is having none of it. Dragan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hawk to score an easy takedown into full guard. Dragan keeping moving, preventing Hawk from controlling successfully. Hawk is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dragan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Hawk throwing strikes from guard but Dragan blocks nicely. Hawk slips nicely into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dragan won't allow Hawk to pass to mount. Dragan trying to control here.
Hawk thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dragan's head. Hawk is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dragan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hawk. Dragan is looking to escape. Hawk thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dragan's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawk thows a huge punch but Dragan dodges it nicely.
Dragan wants to get back to full guard. Hawk wants to free his trapped foot but Dragan is holding on for dear life with his legs. Dragan keeps control of the position for the meantime. Hawk content to control rather than advance. Hawk winds up and cracks Dragan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hawk missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hawk lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Dragan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hawk is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dragan defends it well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hawk in particular looking to stall. Hawk wants to take a breather but Dragan is having none of it. Hawk takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Hawk sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dragan defending well though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawk is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dragan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hawk. Dragan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hawk is working away from the top position though. Dragan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hawk. Dragan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dragan blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hawk. Dragan keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Hawk is trying to work for a kimura but Dragan is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lincoln Hawk dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Dragan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hawk stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Dragan misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hawk.
Hawk has managed to clinch.
Hawk turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Hawk wants to control but Dragan is keeping him busy. Dragan is looking for a sweep. An elbow from Hawk crashes against the mat.
Hawk landing a few strikes. Hawk tries to move to mount but Dragan blocks the move with his legs. Hawk throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Dragan works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Dragan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk is looking to advance position but Dragan won't allow it. Hawk lands with a punch from half guard. Hawk is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dragan can do to turn this around? Hawk is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dragan sees it coming and defends easily. Dragan manages to get to full guard.
Hawk trying to control the position from guard on top but Dragan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawk's corner is telling him to maintain position. Hawk postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Lincoln Hawk just wasn't active enough. Hawk tries to clinch but Dragan moves out of range. Dragan scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dragan misses with a wild body shot. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Hawk wants to clinch. Milos Dragan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Hawk looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dragan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hawk shoots in but no luck this time. Dragan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hawk. Hawk scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Hawk scoring with punches from side control. Dragan taking punishment in the form of punches.
Hawk trying to control the action but Dragan is working from the bottom. Hawk works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Hawk working the ground and pound but Dragan is defending the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawk postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hawk tries to advance to mount but Dragan instead regains half guard. Dragan is defending against the submission attempts here by Hawk.
Hawk is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hawk is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that's the end of the fight! Lincoln Hawk showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hawk, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
