PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman comes to the cage accompanied by CLICK CLICK BOOM! by Saliva. Wooten is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Judas Priest- Hellion. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Coleman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Wooten!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wooten misses with a few strikes there.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wooten enables Coleman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wooten manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Wooten is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Coleman is looking to work some ground and pound but Wooten has wrist control.
Coleman works over Wooten with some ground and pound from guard.
Coleman throws an elbow that misses. Wooten uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Coleman's guard. Nice move by Wooten!

Wooten drops back looking for a leg! Coleman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Coleman manages to kick Wooten off! Wooten jumps back into Coleman's guard.

Coleman dives in for a single leg takedown but Wooten sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Wooten has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Coleman clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wooten is landing with strikes. Coleman can't take much more of this.

Wooten is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Coleman is defending well though. Wooten let's go of the attempt for now.

Wooten is trying to stick to Coleman's back but Coleman is turning into Wooten. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Wooten's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Coleman.

Coleman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wooten sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Coleman somewhat.

Coleman is nestled in close to Wooten, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Wooten is working to avoid the ground and pound but Coleman connects with a decent elbow.
Coleman passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Wooten!
Coleman is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Wooten can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
