Stankus's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Koto - Jabdah. Stanley Stankus could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to big guy's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stankus throws a head kick but guy moves out of range.
Stankus gets caught flat footed, as guy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Stankus could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as guy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

A head kick from Stankus lands but guy takes it in his stride.
guy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stankus can pounce on him.

and guy counters with a single leg into guard. Stankus didn't expect that.
guy looking to sit in guard and control but Stankus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
guy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
