Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luis Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razor Ramon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramon has chosen Hurt by Johnny Cash as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luis Costa! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Razor Ramon! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Costa is looking to slow Ramon down with leg kicks. Ramon lands with a right hand. Costa throws a wild body kick that Ramon sees coming a mile off. Costa with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A slow jab from Ramon misses its intended target. Ramon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Razor Ramon has been cut. Ramon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Costa looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Good work by Costa as he checks the leg kick. Costa connects with a single shot there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Costa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Costa with a hook. Ramon is looking to score with low kicks. Costa avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Ramon throws a body punch but Costa moves out of range. Ramon misses with an uppercut. Costa saw that one coming. Ramon throws a low kick, looking for Costa's leg but Costa calmly moves out of range. Costa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Some bone on bone action there as Costa checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Costa looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Costa lands with an uppercut that bounces Ramon off the cage and back into range. Decent striking displayed by Costa there.
Ramon is rocked! Ramon throws a leg kick but Costa checks it. Ramon is still on wobbly legs! Can Costa finish him? Ramon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Costa drops Ramon with a straight right hand, right on the button! Costa follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luis Costa! Luis Costa retains his middleweight title! Luis Costa decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
