Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Larry David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David comes to the cage accompanied by PRINCE RAMA - RAGHUPATI. Black is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: yes. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

David has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Black tries to bum rush David with a series of wild strikes but David uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
David tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Black was well out of range. Poor timing from David.

David gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Black shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Black is looking to pass into half guard but David pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now David is in guard.

Black throws a looping overhand right but David ducks down to avoid it.

Mr Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Black throws a leg kick which misses David's front leg but catches the back leg as David tries to avoid it.
