Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sid Vicious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Fortbel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fortbel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Shiva Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Victor Fortbel is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vicious fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fortbel avoids it really well and circles away.
Fortbel is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Vicious's half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fortbel lands a nice short elbow.
Vicious wants to improve his position but Fortbel is controlling well.

Fortbel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vicious with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A jab-cross combination lands for Fortbel and sends Vicious crashing to the mat! Fortbel follows him down to the mat - Vicious regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Victor Fortbel decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
