Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Duscaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lay Pray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duscaw's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "I am the Walrus" by The Beatles. Pray has chosen Don't Fear the Reaper- Blue Oyster Cult as his entrance music. Lay Pray has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandon Duscaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lay Pray!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duscaw shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Duscaw loads up on a big right hand but Pray slips the punch.
Duscaw tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pray was well out of range. Poor timing from Duscaw.
Pray shoots in for a double leg but Duscaw sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Pray is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Duscaw's half guard.
Duscaw looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Pray tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Pray looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Duscaw throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Duscaw fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pray manages to avoid it.
Pray changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Duscaw tries to avoid it but Pray manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Duscaw to the ground. Duscaw escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pray misses with a head kick.
Pray looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Duscaw is fending him off so far but Pray persists. Nope, Duscaw circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Duscaw is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pray is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Duscaw's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Duscaw's back!

Let's hope that Pray has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brandon Duscaw will probably get the nod.
