Black Scholes connects with a right hand. Marchand shakes it off.
Marchand tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Black Scholes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Black Scholes looking to score a takedown here. Marchand is defending well but Black Scholes drives through and ends up in Marchand's guard.
Marchand pushes a forearm under Black Scholes's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Black Scholes is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
