Rookie throws a head kick that half lands.
Rookie lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kurdov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rookie connects with a leg kick. Kurdov looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rookie, right into the meat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rookie attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Rookie connects with an inside leg kick.
Rookie lands a big head kick that sends Kurdov to the canvas! Rookie follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
