Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Surov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomi Atomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Surov comes to the cage accompanied by Amphetamines. Atomi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Stratovarius - Abyss Of Your Eyes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atomi throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Surov on the side of the head.
Surov misses with a wild body shot.
Surov looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Atomi goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Surov looks to score with a jab to the body but Atomi is just out of range.
Atomi throws a body punch but Surov moves out of range.
Atomi scores with a nice strike.

Surov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Atomi circles away.
Atomi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Atomi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Atomi throws a right hand that Surov ducks under and follows up with a left that Surov also avoids with ease.
Surov cracks Atomi with a right hand to the side of the head.
We've been hearing reports that Surov has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Atomi connects with a good right hand that stumbles Surov. Surov circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Surov gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Atomi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Atomi has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Atomi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Atomi misses with a low kick as Surov jumps back.
Atomi connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Surov is looking to wear down Atomi with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Surov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Surov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Surov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Atomi throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Atomi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Surov's calf.
Surov misses with a body shot.
Atomi tries to clinch there but Surov circles away.
Atomi finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Atomi fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Atomi closes the distance but Surov moves to the side
and Surov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Atomi's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Atomi is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Surov frees his head nicely. Oh but Atomi has switched to an armbar! Surov is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Tomi Atomi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
