And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Equinox fails in his attempt to clinch.
John Equinox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Equinox moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Sobrawl goes down! Can Equinox finish him!?
Equinox trying to control the position from guard on top but Sobrawl is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Equinox has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Equinox stopping the sweep attempt from Sobrawl.
Sobrawl working for a triangle but Equinox defends it easily.
Sobrawl trying to keep a closed guard but Equinox is proving a slippery customer.

Sobrawl has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Equinox can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Sobrawl escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Equinox gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Equinox won't allow Sobrawl to sweep him here.
Sobrawl is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Equinox wants to control from the top but Sobrawl keeps moving.
Equinox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sobrawl on the ground.

Sobrawl manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Sobrawl has control of Equinox's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Equinox regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Equinox on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Equinox tries to get out of the position.
Sobrawl is working for a guillotine from mount but Equinox frees his head quite easily.
Sobrawl quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Sobrawl but it's paid off an Equinox is forced to tap! Nice work by Sobrawl.
