Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Fenili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pejro Karesky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gabriel Fenili! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pejro Karesky! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Roberts and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karesky tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Fenili throws a sloppy head kick and Karesky moves out of range easily. Karesky throws a low kick but it's checked well by Fenili. Fenili is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Karesky tries to clinch but Fenili is having none of it. Fenili fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Karesky sprawls well initially but Fenili persists and gets the takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Fenili is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Karesky sees it coming and defends easily. Fenili trying to control the action but Karesky is working from the bottom. Fenili is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Karesky doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fenili. Fenili is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Karesky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fenili. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karesky is looking for a sweep. Fenili is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Karesky is looking to control Fenili's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Karesky avoid being mounted? Fenili prevents Karesky from improving his position. Fenili wants to work for an arm triangle but Karesky is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Fenili is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Karesky is just riding it out for now. Fenili eventually gives up the hold. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fenili is looking to advance position but Karesky won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fenili decides to stand up. Karesky gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Karesky pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Karesky has Fenili pressed against the cage.
Fenili is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Fenili tries to circle away but Karesky has him pinned against the cage. Karesky misses with a hook to the ribs.
Karesky struggles to land a body shot inside as Fenili controls his hands.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fenili tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Karesky just stands there and leans against the cage. Fenili has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Karesky after a bit of a struggle. Fenili changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Karesky fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Fenili. That's going to take a lot out of him. Karesky throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fenili. Karesky keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Fenili closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Karesky did well to prevent Fenili getting side control. Ground and pound from Fenili. Karesky wants to improve his position but Fenili is controlling well.

This has been an exciting period of action! Karesky manages to get to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Karesky controls Fenili momentarily but Fenili frees himself. Fenili stands up from Karesky's guard - Fenili perhaps looking for a knockout. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fenili moves in looking to clinch but Karesky pushes him off. Gabriel Fenili seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fenili looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Horrible takedown by Fenili or perhaps it was just good defense by Karesky which made him look bad. Fenili keeps the fight on the outside. Gabriel Fenili is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fenili connects with a body shot that sends Karesky's belly button to the back. Karesky wants to clinch. Fenili shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Karesky pinned against the cage. Karesky gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The fight moves into the clinch position. Fenili decides to pull guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fenili looking to hit a scissor sweep but Karesky is one step ahead there. Karesky got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fenili has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Karesky has managed to get both his arms back between Fenili's legs - danger averted. Karesky content to stall in guard here. Karesky trying to control the position from guard on top but Fenili is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fenili looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fenili is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Karesky frees his head nicely. Oh but Fenili has switched to an armbar! Karesky is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
