Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Millar ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cung Yune! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yune throws a series of strikes that have Millar backpedaling.
Millar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nice sprawl there from Yune as Millar shoots in. Yune throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Yune leaves Millar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Millar takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Yune throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Millar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Yune with a body punch. A glancing blow. Millar looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Yune fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A jab from Yune finds it's way through Millar 's defenses. Yune misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Millar takes one to the side of the head.

Millar is breathing heavily. Yune throws a front kick that sends Millar stumbling back into the cage. Millar shoots in but Yune avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Millar . That's going to take a lot out of him. Yune throws a nice looking combination but Millar bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yune tries to clinch but Millar is having none of it. Yune has Millar up against the cage in a clinch.
Millar jumps guard and drags Yune to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Millar throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Yune gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Yune scores with a kick to the midsection. Yune lands a really nice looking cross but Millar seems unphased.
Yune lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Yune is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Millar takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Millar avoids the head kick by Yune.
Cung Yune seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yune cracks Millar with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Yune with a hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yune with a hook. Millar takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Millar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yune sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Millar somewhat. Yune connects with a leg kick. Millar looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Yune connects with a jab. Yune scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Yune looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Yune connects with a body shot. Good leg kick by Yune there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Cung Yune is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Millar sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

and Yune counters with a low kick, right behind Millar 's knee. Yune works Millar 's body with a nice hook. Yune keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Yune scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Millar doesn't seem bothered though. Millar takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Yune scores with a nice head shot. Millar with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Yune to score with a decent uppercut. Millar takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Yune will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Yune lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice body kick there by Yune. Yune's coach down at Tokyo Totally Gym + Sauna was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yune's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yune scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Millar doesn't seem bothered though. Yune paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yune lands with a kick to the temple. Millar shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Yune lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Yune. Millar closes the distance and clinches up with Yune, looking for a takedown. Millar pushes Yune against the cage but Yune circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Yune turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Yune lands with a straight right. Millar didn't see that one coming. Yune scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The fight stays on the outside here - Yune looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Millar darts in looking for a takedown but Yune gets double underhooks and turns Millar into the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Millar is working for takedown but Yune is calmly controlling the position for now. A short uppercut from Yune. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cung Yune dominated that round. That's time! Millar 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Millar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Millar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yune as he jumps to the side. Millar rushes Yune and presses him up against the cage. Yune tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Yune misses with a punch to the body.
Millar keeps control of Yune as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Millar keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Yune's efforts to push away. Yune is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Millar tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Yune smiles and moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Millar takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Yune scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Yune keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Yune tries to close the distance and clinch up but Millar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Yune connects with a body shot that sends Millar 's belly button to the back. Millar dives in and grabs Yune's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yune pushes down on Millar 's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Millar . That's going to take a lot out of him. Yune fakes the leg kick and cracks Millar in the body. Michael Millar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Yune scores with a decent looking hook. Yune tries to close the distance and clinch up but Millar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Yune has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Millar is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Yune wants to clinch up but Millar keeps it at a distance. Yune feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Millar 's calf. Yune moves in looking to clinch but Millar pushes him off. Yune tries to clinch but Millar moves out of range. Millar looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yune scores with a head kick. Millar tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yune cracks a nice hook into Millar 's ribs. Yune scores with a hook. Yune throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Yune tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Millar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Yune thumps Millar with a low kick. Yune catches Millar with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Yune tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Yune fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Yune stalks Millar and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Millar 's face. Millar staggers backwards, shaken. Yune swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Millar . Yune scores with a kick to the body.
A slapping body kick lands there for Yune.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Yune. Millar takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Yune uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Millar has time to react. Yune is looking to clinch. Millar is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Yune throws a leg kick which misses Millar 's front leg but catches the back leg as Millar tries to avoid it. Yune looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Yune getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Millar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Yune paws at him with a jab and circles away. Yune lands with a nice combination. Millar backs away looking to recover. Yune throws a leg kick which misses Millar 's front leg but catches the back leg as Millar tries to avoid it. Millar is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Yune. Millar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Millar crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Yune - the referee stops the clock and Millar gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Yune. Millar manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yune wants to clinch and Millar counters by clinching up. Millar tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Yune's elbow. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Yune. Yune is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yune lands a right hand that snaps the head of Millar backwards. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yune goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Yune tries to break the clinch but Millar is controlling the position. Yune tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cung Yune showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Yune keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Yune lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Millar is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Yune.

Millar takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Millar tries to clinch but Yune moves out of range. Millar will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Yune displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Millar moves forwards but Yune connects with a nice, crisp jab. A slapping leg kick lands for Yune.
Yune scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Millar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Millar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Millar prevents Yune from escaping the position. Yune is not content to let Millar control the position. Yune really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Millar . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yune pushes Millar away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Millar gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yune is looking for a sweep. Millar controlling the position. Yune wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Millar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yune keeps working. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. The referee asks Millar politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Millar prefers to stall for the moment though.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Michael Millar just wasn't active enough. Millar drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Cung Yune seems to be getting the better of the standup. Yune fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Millar . Millar drops his hands momentarily and Yune takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Yune thows a body kick. Millar tries to catch it but that hurt him. Yune lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Millar shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Millar showed some decent athleticism there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Millar not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Millar stops Yune from getting back to his feet.
Cung Yune is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Millar passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Yune! Millar landing punches.
And that's the end of the fight! Cung Yune comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Yune winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
