Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aslan Taisumov!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taisumov misses with a wild combination.
Mamedov moves to clinch but Taisumov breaks away
and Taisumov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mamedov tries to clinch up
and Taisumov counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Oleg Mamedov has been cut.
Taisumov circles away from the clinch attempt
and Taisumov counters with a nice body shot.
Taisumov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mamedov tries to close the distance and clinch but Taisumov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mamedov moves in looking to clinch but Taisumov pushes him off.
Mamedov tries to clinch up
and Taisumov counters with a nice right hand that sends Mamedov toppling to the canvas! Mamedov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Taisumov finish him?!
Mamedov is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mamedov moves to clinch but Taisumov breaks away
and Taisumov counters with a right hand to the body.
Oh Mamedov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mamedov fails to land the takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Taisumov misses with a wild combination.
Taisumov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mamedov seems to have got his legs back now.
Mamedov tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Taisumov counters with a left and a right... And another left! Mamedov is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aslan Taisumov!
