Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

28 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bryan Bishop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Walter White! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Bishop does no damage. White misses the shot to the body. White tries to clinch up. Nice sprawl there from White as Bishop shoots in. Bishop blocks a leg kick. White wants to clinch. Bishop fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. White sprawls well initially but Bishop persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. White is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Bishop jumps into side control! White is looking to regain half guard here but Bishop keeps moving and retains side control. White gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Bishop prevents White from improving his position.

White has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bishop is working away from the top position though. Bishop trying to control from half guard but White is working away. White is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bishop is staying active. White tries to roll over but Bishop keeps him under control. This has been an exciting period of action! White actively working from the bottom here.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. White gets back to half guard.

White tries to reverse the position but Bishop maintains control. White is bucking up trying to escape but Bishop cracks him with another couple of good strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. White tries to hold on but Bishop pushes him away. Bishop landing strikes from the mount and White is in trouble!
White is rocked! Bishop tries to control but White wriggling away. White can't escape the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Bryan Bishop will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bishop with a poor takedown and White counters with a nice double leg into guard. White trying to control the position from guard on top but Bishop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. White missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. White drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bishop dives on top into guard. White looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bishop is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. White is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. White is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bishop is aware though and is defending well. White escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bishop gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Walter White has got the better of the ground game so far. Bishop tries to free his leg and advance position but White is retaining full guard. White is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bishop with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. White working a defensive guard here.
White looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bishop puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bishop content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. White looking for submissions from an awkward position here. White is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bishop pulls his head out easily. White looking for submissions off his back. White has his hands clasped together around Bishop's back. He's all about the action. White wants to improve his position but Bishop is controlling well.

White had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bishop defends it easily. Bishop stopping the sweep attempt from White. White keeping moving, preventing Bishop from controlling successfully.

Bishop trying to control but White is working from the bottom. Bishop might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bishop is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but White has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bishop is looking to defend but White has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bishop! White pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bishop taps out and this one is all over!
