The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Yamamoto in his tracks.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yamamoto takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Nevin throws a right hand that Yamamoto ducks under and follows up with a left that Yamamoto also avoids with ease.
Yamamoto steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Nevin. That one must have hurt.
Nevin connects with a leg kick. Yamamoto looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Nevin scores with a jab. Yamamoto acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Nevin.

Yamamoto is rocked!
Yamamoto throws a lazy head kick
and Nevin counters with an inside leg kick.
Nevin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Nevin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Yamamoto has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Yamamoto looks winded!
Yamamoto chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Nevin can pounce on him.
Yamamoto tries a head kick but it misses.
Nevin lands a nice hook to Yamamoto's body. Yamamoto takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Nevin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Yamamoto sprawling to the canvas! Yamamoto rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nevin finish him?!
Yamamoto is still on wobbly legs! Can Nevin finish him?

It looks like Takashi Yamamoto has been cut.

Nevin feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Yamamoto collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
