Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dirt McGirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timur Uzbaijzky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGirk kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is This Is Who I Am . Dirt McGirk could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Timur Uzbaijzky's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dirt McGirk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Timur Uzbaijzky! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uzbaijzky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McGirk moves away. McGirk defending well as Uzbaijzky loads up on a big left hand. Uzbaijzky has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as McGirk is landing a low percentage of strikes. McGirk thows a body shot but no joy. McGirk jabs Uzbaijzky to the body, keeping him at a distance. We've been told by McGirk's head coaches at Hilo Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. McGirk has Uzbaijzky up against the ropes in a clinch.
McGirk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Uzbaijzky bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McGirk's head. McGirk throws a combination that misses and Uzbaijzky counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Some wild striking there from McGirk.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Uzbaijzky has McGirk pressed against the ropes, preventing McGirk from circling away and getting back to striking at range. McGirk tries to break free but Uzbaijzky pushes him back against the ropes. Uzbaijzky breaks the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dirt McGirk. Well I reckon that's a shut out for McGirk, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
