Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tycho Brahe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerome Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brahe's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Astronomy by Metallica. Powers has chosen We Run This - Missy Elliot as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brahe sprawls well initially but Powers persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Powers trying to control from Brahe's half guard. Brahe has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Powers looking to pass the guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Powers accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Powers pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brahe is keeping the position for now.
Brahe keeping moving, preventing Powers from controlling successfully.

Powers being controlled here momentarily.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Brahe connects with a crisp jab.
Powers gets the takedown into side control.

Powers throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Powers trying to control the position but Brahe is working away.
Brahe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Powers tries for a kimura but Brahe is defending well.

Brahe is trying to get back to half guard.
Powers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brahe keeps working.
Powers cracks Brahe with a big elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brahe manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Powers seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brahe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Powers is looking to advance position but Brahe won't allow it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The fighters are battling for position here. Brahe manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Powers trying to control the position from guard on top but Brahe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Brahe not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Brahe looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Powers throws a big elbow that misses.
Brahe preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Brahe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Powers trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Powers trying to control but Brahe is working from the bottom.
Powers throwing strikes but missing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Powers looking to sit in guard and control but Brahe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Powers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Powers fails with a takedown attempt.
Brahe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Powers looks to score with a jab to the body but Brahe is just out of range.
Powers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Powers slips under a jab from Brahe.
Powers scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Powers shoots in and drives through. Brahe sprawls well.
Powers shoots in but Brahe avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tycho Brahe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerome Powers.
Brahe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Powers.
Powers walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Brahe looks to throw the jab but Powers is out of range.
Powers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brahe pinned against the ropes. Brahe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Brahe throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Powers misses with a hook. Brahe ducked under it nicely.
Powers fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Brahe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Brahe lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Brahe uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Powers has time to react.
Brahe throws a head kick that misses.
Brahe avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Powers looks for a takedown but Brahe sprawls well.
Powers is breathing heavily.
Brahe lands a nice shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Powers is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Brahe.
Brahe scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Powers is rocked!

Brahe measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Powers! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

Our winner, Tycho Brahe, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
