Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack The Saw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Shinra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rufus Shinra has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jack The Saw's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack The Saw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rufus Shinra! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shinra rushes The Saw and presses him up against the cage. The referee calls for The Saw to work.
The Saw tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
The Saw blocks a body shot from Shinra. The Saw is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Shinra pulls him back up using the underhooks. The Saw fails to pull guard.
Shinra will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning The Saw up against the cage. The Saw manages to break the clinch.
Shinra throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and The Saw counters with a lovely straight right hand! Shinra looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The Saw shoots for a double leg takedown but Shinra sprawls well. He's pushed The Saw's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack The Saw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Shinra pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Shinra lands a left and a right that send The Saw crashing to the mat, dazed. Shinra thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
That's one minute gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Shinra.
The Saw shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shinra pinned against the cage. Shinra gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Shinra throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Shinra throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The Saw tries to clinch there but Shinra circles away.
Shinra scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Shinra throws a right and a left that The Saw avoids nicely. Shinra misses with a wild combination.
Shinra tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The Saw paws at him with a jab and circles away. The Saw misses with a body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Saw shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shinra pinned against the cage. Shinra gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for The Saw. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. The Saw shoots in for a takedown but Shinra shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Shinra throws a series of punches but The Saw moves out of range. No luck for The Saw with that takedown attempt. Shinra throws a right hand that The Saw ducks under and follows up with a left that The Saw also avoids with ease. Rufus Shinra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shinra tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but The Saw was well out of range. Poor timing from Shinra. Shinra swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The Saw gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shinra goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Shinra is defending well against a takedown attempt. The Saw breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The Saw connects with a right hand. Shinra shakes it off. The Saw lands a jab to the head.
Shinra clinches. The Saw lands a nice shot to the body. The Saw is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Shinra gets control of The Saw's arms and successfully pulls guard. Shinra will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. The Saw controls from within his opponent's guard. Shinra is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Saw is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Shinra tries to land a sweep but no joy. The Saw wants to pass the guard but Shinra is keeping the position. The Saw stands and throws Shinra's legs to the side, diving into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! An elbow from The Saw crashes against the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rufus Shinra dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
The Saw shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shinra but Shinra pushes him off and we're back to square one. The Saw closes the distance and clinches. Shinra displaying some good clinch control by pressing The Saw up against the cage. The Saw jumps guard but Shinra stands there with The Saw around his waist. The Saw gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Shinra is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by The Saw. Shinra swinging wildly here.
Shinra slaps away a takedown attempt from The Saw, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack The Saw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Shinra.

Shinra misses with a straight left. Shinra shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in The Saw's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shinra stops The Saw from standing up. Shinra avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Shinra not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The Saw tries to land a sweep but no joy. Shinra trying to control but The Saw is working from the bottom. This has been an exciting period of action! Shinra preventing the sweep. The Saw wants to get back to his feet but Shinra is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rufus Shinra was stalling too much, according to the referee. A head kick misses from The Saw. The Saw fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Shinra looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Shinra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but The Saw manages to avoid it. The Saw tries for a takedown but Shinra sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The Saw closes the distance and clinches up with Shinra, looking for a takedown. The Saw pushes Shinra against the cage but Shinra circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jack The Saw is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Shinra closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The Saw blocks an uppercut.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Shinra throws a lazy uppercut
and The Saw counters with a right hand to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shinra lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The Saw moves in looking to clinch but Shinra pushes him off. The Saw looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shinra is fending him off so far but The Saw persists. Nope, Shinra circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rufus Shinra showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Shinra throws a combination that misses and The Saw counters with a three punch combo that has Shinra backing up. Shinra nods at The Saw to acknowledge the strikes. The Saw shoots in for a takedown but Shinra shows good takedown defense. The Saw has closed the distance and engaged Shinra in a clinch.
Shinra escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The Saw clinches up against the cage. Jack The Saw has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jack The Saw. I think Shinra has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
