Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Kemosabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josiah Mudzuri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josiah Mudzuri acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Kemosabe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Josiah Mudzuri! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kemosabe fails with a takedown attempt. Kemosabe really is a fat lump. Kemosabe shoots in looking for a takedown. Mudzuri tries to sprawl out of it but Kemosabe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mudzuri manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kemosabe fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Kemosabe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mudzuri throws a low kick but Kemosabe avoids it. Mudzuri lands a nice looking body kick. Mudzuri just misses with a punch to the body.
Kemosabe checks a low kick from Mudzuri. Mudzuri is looking to chop away at Kemosabe's legs. Kemosabe fails with a takedown attempt. Kemosabe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Mudzuri looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Mudzuri misses with a body kick. Kemosabe shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kemosabe showed some decent athleticism there. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kemosabe is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kemosabe is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mudzuri defends it well. Mudzuri tries to roll over but Kemosabe keeps him under control. Mudzuri wants to control but Kemosabe is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kemosabe is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Mudzuri is in trouble now - Kemosabe has advanced to mount! Kemosabe looking to control but Mudzuri is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Mudzuri is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kemosabe is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mudzuri to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mudzuri shrugs it off. Mudzuri is trying desperately to improve position. Kemosabe working away from the top, dropping strikes. Kemosabe working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Mudzuri looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Kemosabe! Submission of the night perhaps?
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). John Kemosabe! A relieved looking John Kemosabe thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
