Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sene Gal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Schlemper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sene Gal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabricio Schlemper! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schlemper misses with a leg kick and Gal counters with a leg kick. Schlemper closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Schlemper lands a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schlemper looking to pass the guard. Schlemper pushing down on Gal's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gal looks like he's trying to stand up.
We've been hearing good reports from Gal's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Schlemper is looking for a kimura here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gal is looking to improve his position but Schlemper isn't that keen on the idea. Schlemper controlling his opponent. Gal can't escape the position.
Schlemper is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Schlemper controlling from the full mount. Gal is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gal somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet! Schlemper throws a nice looking combination but Gal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Schlemper scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Gal manages to get back to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gal actively working from the bottom here. Gal looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Gal tries to kick Schlemper off but Schlemper keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Gal is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schlemper decides to return to a standing position. Schlemper tries to clinch but Gal moves out of range. Schlemper tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gal swats him away and circles back towards the center. A momentary lapse in concentration from Gal enables Schlemper to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gal manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Gal is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Schlemper defends well. Schlemper gets to his feet - Gal follows without any prompting. Gal gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schlemper engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Schlemper throwing strikes but missing. Gal has his foot on Schlemper's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Schlemper works his way back into a safe position though. Gal being controlled here, momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fabricio Schlemper dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Schlemper looks to clinch and Gal counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Schlemper shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gal's guard. Schlemper lands a couple of elbows. Schlemper slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Schlemper is looking to take a break and control but Gal is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gal is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Gal's face as Schlemper controls the position. Schlemper lands a nice forearm strike. Gal is trying to work for a sweep but Schlemper has mounted him!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Schlemper fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Gal tries to reverse the position but Schlemper maintains control. Gal looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Schlemper connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Gal to escape the position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Schlemper controlling well, preventing Gal from escaping the position.
Schlemper is persistently looking for the submission but Gal is defending it well.
Schlemper lands a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schlemper has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Gal is in real trouble here. Schlemper gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Gal is tapping out! Schlemper wins by rear naked choke!
