Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oren Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conner Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oren Spencer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conner Gray!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Gray, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Gray closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Spencer did well to prevent Gray getting side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Spencer is looking for a sweep. Gray is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Gray is keen to just control but Spencer is a slippery customer.
Spencer regains full guard. Nicely done.
Gray must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Gray content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Gray trying to control but Spencer is working from the bottom.
Gray throws a strike but Spencer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Gray has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Spencer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gray.
Gray manages to get back to half guard.
Gray is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Spencer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Spencer's back!
Gray really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Spencer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gray lands a shot to the head.
Spencer manages to reverse the position and now he's in Gray's guard. Nice work there by Spencer.

Gray looking for subs off his back but Spencer has passed one foot through into half guard.
Gray tries to get to full guard but Spencer has control of the leg.

Spencer is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Gray pushes Spencer off looking to stand but Spencer dives back in and keeps control.

Gray trying to hold on to Spencer's head to control him but Spencer postures up.

Gray has one foot on Spencer's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Gray closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Spencer's guard.
Spencer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Gray postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Gray gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Spencer manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gray looks winded!
Gray trying desperately to get to his feet.
Gray is bucking up trying to escape but Spencer cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Gray tries to hold on but Spencer pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gray is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Gray is trying to stand but he's just given Spencer his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Conner Gray dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Gray closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gray is trying to control the action in half guard but Spencer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Spencer wants to get back to full guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Spencer is trying to control but can't.
Gray prevents Spencer from improving his position.
Gray is nestled in close to Spencer, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Gray passes to side control.
Gray working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Spencer is looking to regain half guard here but Gray keeps moving and retains side control.

Gray wants to control but Spencer is keeping him busy.
Gray works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Spencer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Spencer can't do much from the bottom here.
Spencer parries the strikes from Gray easily there. Gray is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Spencer to escape.

Gray is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Gray lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Spencer on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Spencer gets back to half guard.

Gray not doing much here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gray is keen to just control but Spencer is a slippery customer.

Gray distracts Spencer with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.


Spencer is rocked!

Gray drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Gray as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Spencer screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Gray! Nice submission victory there!

After winning the bout, Conner Gray thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
