Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brick Tamland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bj Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Penn's choice of entrance music: Played A Live-Safri Duo. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Bj Penn told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Penn dives in and scores a takedown into Tamland's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Tamland is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Penn frees his head nicely. Oh but Tamland has switched to an armbar! Penn is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
