Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erick Sierra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Project (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erick Sierra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Red Project ! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sierra on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Project throws a right hand that misses
and Sierra counters with a flying knee. Nice. Sierra avoids the body shot from Project .
Project misses with an uppercut. Sierra walks into a straight right hand from Project . Red Project seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sierra jabbing away but nothing is landing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Project fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Project takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

A big left from Sierra misses. Sierra looks to land a right hand but Project moved out of range. Sierra swinging wildly here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Project cracks Sierra with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Project missing with a left hand there. Sierra was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Project connects with a jab. Project works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Sierra avoids the body shot from Project .
The fighters circle momentarily. Project darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Project shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Project was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Project lands an elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Project trying to control the position but Sierra is working away. Check out the look on Project 's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Project scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Sierra to see if he's OK. Project wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sierra keeps working. Project has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Project scoring with punches and elbows. Sierra is looking for a sweep. Sierra is not content to let Project control the position. Project is working Sierra over with some ground and pound from side control. Sierra is trying to buck Project off. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Project lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sierra down.
Project wants to control but Sierra is keeping him busy. Project in side control, just content to control the action for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Project wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sierra keeps working. Project landing a few strikes. Sierra pushes Project away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Project gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Sierra tries to bench press Project off him but Project keeps the position. Project lands a decent elbow from side control. Sierra taking punishment in the form of punches.
Project wants to control but Sierra is keeping him busy. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sierra prevents Project from improving position. Project creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Sierra is trying to control Project 's posture but Project avoids it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Project creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Project advances to full mount. Project working the ground and pound effectively.
Sierra takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Project with shots to the head and body - Sierra looks very uncomfortable down there. Project working away from the top, dropping strikes. Project raining down hammerfists from mount. Project postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Sierra badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Project around the waist but Project pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Project is the winner by TKO! Project jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Red Project ! Post fight, Red Project stared into the camera and said 'If I lost this fight I was going to retire. Maybe I have a chance to redeem my career'.
