Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nataniel Byczynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zbermat Serlal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Byczynski's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, War is My Destiny. Serlal is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mortal Kombat . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nataniel Byczynski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zbermat Serlal!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serlal looks to land a right hand but Byczynski moved out of range.
Byczynski throws a series of punches but Serlal moves out of range.
Byczynski moves forwards but Serlal connects with a nice, crisp jab.


It looks like Nataniel Byczynski has been cut.
Byczynski jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Byczynski lets loose with a powerful body kick. Serlal will feel that in the morning.

Byczynski gets caught flat footed, as Serlal shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Serlal with a flurry of punches that miss.
Byczynski lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Serlal!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Serlal is trying to escape the mount.
Serlal keeps trying to improve his position.
Byczynski has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Serlal's face.
Serlal sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Serlal is looking for a triangle but Byczynski pushes his legs off easily.
Serlal has momentary wrist control but Byczynski slips an elbow through the middle.
We've been hearing good reports from Byczynski's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Byczynski would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Serlal has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Byczynski has passed into side control.
Serlal is looking to regain half guard here but Byczynski keeps moving and retains side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Byczynski wants to control but Serlal is keeping him busy.
Byczynski wants to stand but Serlal has his arm trapped.
Byczynski misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Serlal is refusing to be controlled, as Byczynski sits in half guard.
Serlal is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Byczynski misses with a head shot. Serlal uses the momentum to regain guard.

Byczynski wants to control from the top but Serlal keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Serlal pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Serlal misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Serlal is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Byczynski can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


Byczynski is rocked!
Serlal postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Byczynski out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Serlal goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Zbermat Serlal!
A very excited looking Zbermat Serlal made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
