Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Stanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stanson's entrance music is Until The End. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brian Stanson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Charles Bronson! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Darius Henderson and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stanson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bronson. Bronson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Bronson misses with a hook. Stanson ducked under it nicely. Stanson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Bronson cracks Stanson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Brian Stanson has been cut. Bronson scores with a nice head shot. Stanson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bronson but Bronson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bronson throws a body punch but Stanson moves out of range. Bronson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Stanson looks for a takedown but Bronson sprawls well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bronson throws a quick inside leg kick. Nice takedown defense from Bronson. No joy for Stanson on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Stanson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bronson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Stanson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Bronson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Stanson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Stanson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bronson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stanson throws the kick towards the body but Bronson avoids it. Stanson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bronson on his heels. He'll look to pass Bronson's guard now, I'm sure. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Bronson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stanson is one step ahead there. Stanson sitting in guard here, content to control. Stanson trying to control but Bronson is working from the bottom. Bronson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stanson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stanson trying to control the position from guard on top but Bronson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brian Stanson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Stanson shoots in and drives through. Bronson sprawls well. Bronson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A shot to the liver by Stanson. Beautiful body shot. Stanson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Stanson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bronson scores with a leg kick.

and Stanson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Stanson with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanson stopping the sweep attempt from Bronson. Stanson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Stanson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Bronson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Stanson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Stanson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Bronson is adopting a defensive guard. Stanson wants to control from the top but Bronson keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bronson trying to keep a closed guard but Stanson is proving a slippery customer.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Charles Bronson wasn't active enough on the ground. Bronson looks to throw the jab but Stanson is out of range. Bronson gets caught napping as Stanson dives in and scores a takedown. Bronson manages to retain guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bronson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Stanson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stanson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stanson throws a big elbow that misses. Stanson looking to sit in guard and control but Bronson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Stanson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brian Stanson's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bronson stuffs the takedown attempt from Stanson. Stanson gets slowly back to his feet. Bronson throws a big shot that misses. Stanson slips under a jab from Bronson. Bronson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bronson misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Stanson counters with a stiff right hand. Stanson tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bronson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stanson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Stanson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bronson.
Bronson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Stanson tries to clinch up but Bronson circles away and keeps his distance. Stanson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bronson feints and then cracks Stanson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stanson down. Stanson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bronson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Stanson. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Stanson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stanson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bronson is fending him off so far but Stanson persists. Nope, Bronson circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bronson throws a leg kick which misses Stanson's front leg but catches the back leg as Stanson tries to avoid it. Stanson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Stanson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Charles Bronson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bronson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stanson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Stanson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bronson defends it nicely. Bronson cracks Stanson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Stanson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bronson finish him?
Stanson is rocked! Bronson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Stanson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Bronson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Stanson's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
