The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernhart looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hilton tries a head kick but it misses.
Hilton throws a sloppy body shot
and Fernhart counters with a series of strikes. Hilton will be more careful next time no doubt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fernhart misses with an uppercut.
Hilton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fernhart drops Hilton with a left and a right! Oh, Hilton is hurt - Fernhart dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Parfait Hilton has been cut.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hilton is not content to let Fernhart control the position.
Hilton is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Fernhart wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hilton keeps working.
Fernhart moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Fernhart has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hilton is looking to reverse the position.
Fernhart has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hilton is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Fernhart yanks on the arm and Hilton is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Fernhart.
