Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blair Howatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Bobles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howatt's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Boom - POD. Ray Bobles will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Blair Howatt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bobles uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Howatt.
Bobles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Howatt as he avoids it easily.
Howatt missing with a left hand there. Bobles was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Howatt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bobles.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bobles.
Howatt misses with a two punch combination.
Bobles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Howatt tries to avoid it but Bobles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Howatt to the ground. Howatt escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Blair Howatt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Bobles.
Howatt misses with the combination.
Bobles closes the distance and clinches up with Howatt, looking for a takedown. Bobles pushes Howatt against the cage but Howatt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Howatt avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fighters circling - Howatt throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Howatt misses with a wild combination.
Bobles has a takedown stuffed.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Howatt wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bobles looks gassed!
No joy there for Howatt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Howatt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bobles.
Howatt lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Howatt moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Bobles goes down! Can Howatt finish him!?

Bobles is rocked!

Howatt drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Howatt jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bobles is still in real trouble! Can Howatt finish him?
Howatt pushes down on Bobles's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Howatt stalling.
Bobles seems to have recovered his senses.

Howatt is trying to work for a kimura but Bobles is defending well.
Bobles won't allow Howatt to pass to mount.
Bobles wants to improve his position but Howatt is controlling well.
Howatt is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Howatt looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Howatt lands a big elbow.

Howatt is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Howatt connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bobles. Bobles circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Bobles shoots in for a takedown but Howatt shows good takedown defense.
Bobles takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Howatt misses with the combination.
Howatt scores with a nice strike.
Bobles is trying desperately to land a takedown but Howatt is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Bobles.
Bobles looks up at the clock. Bad move! Howatt lands a right hand from hell, dropping Bobles. Howatt pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
