Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Knock Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Balboa! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Out wants to clinch up but Balboa keeps it at a distance. Balboa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Balboa tries a head kick but it misses.
Out drives through and clinches with Balboa against the cage.
Balboa tries to break the clinch but Out is controlling the position. Balboa can't get the takedown.
Out is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Out escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Out wants to clinch. Out is looking to clinch. Out tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Balboa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Balboa shoots in and gets a takedown into Out's guard. Balboa passes into half guard. Balboa wants to stand but Out has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Out knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Balboa on the ground.

Balboa is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Out! Balboa is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Out tries to close the distance and clinch but Balboa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Balboa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Balboa wants a takedown.

Knock Out is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Out defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Balboa. Out misses with a head kick.

Out leaves Balboa with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Knock Out seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balboa fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Knock Out has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Balboa. Balboa is looking to clinch but Out is avoiding it.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Out. Balboa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Out as he jumps to the side. Out gets a clinch. Balboa is looking to take this one to the mat. Out stalls. Out gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Balboa regains guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Out in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Out has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Out with a flurry of punches that miss. Out wants to get up but he can't break Balboa's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Balboa utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Out postures up in Balboa's guard and throws a big left but Balboa blocks it. Balboa controlling Out's posture. Out is looking to work some ground and pound but Balboa has wrist control. Balboa manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Balboa has hold of Out's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Out manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Balboa is standing up, even though he is in mount. Balboa misses with a jab, cross combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Out is looking to clinch. Out throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Knock Out dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Out closes the distance and clinches. Balboa manages to pull guard.

Out lands an elbow inside that Balboa shrugs off. Balboa is looking to control Out's arms but Out gets an underhook and turns him. Now Balboa has his back to the cage. A nice glancing elbow lands by Out. Balboa is looking to take this one to the mat. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Balboa is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Out unloads a knee to the mid-section. Balboa lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
And that's the end of the fight! Knock Out showed his dominance in that final round. I think Out has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
