Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santeri Sikaniska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, How Much For One Rib?. Sikaniska has chosen 2 Brothers on the 4th floor - Fairytales as his entrance music. Santeri Sikaniska is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mason Watson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Santeri Sikaniska!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sikaniska throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sikaniska tries to close the distance and clinch up but Watson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sikaniska throws out a leg kick but Watson moves out of range and Sikaniska only half commits.
Watson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sikaniska.
Watson looks for a takedown but Sikaniska sprawls well.
Watson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Watson misses with a takedown attempt - Sikaniska sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sikaniska takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sikaniska doesn't manage to clinch there - Watson circles away.
Watson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Watson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Watson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sikaniska knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Sikaniska is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Watson has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Watson goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sikaniska rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Watson's guard! Nice work there by Sikaniska!

Watson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sikaniska defends well.
Sikaniska wanted to stand there but Watson had control of the position.

Watson has gone for a leg lock! Sikaniska slips out almost immediately though and dives into Watson's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Watson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sikaniska can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

and Watson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sikaniska's guard.
Sikaniska is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Watson is controlling him.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Watson here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
