Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Clover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velasquez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. It's My Life-Bon Jovi kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Velasquez there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Clover looking to score a takedown here. Velasquez is defending well but Clover drives through and ends up in Velasquez's guard.

Velasquez is working an open guard so Clover takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Clover wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Velasquez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Velasquez shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Velasquez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clover tries to avoid it but Velasquez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clover to the ground. Clover escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Velasquez tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Clover defends well and Velasquez ends up having to push Clover into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Velasquez can do anything to dispel that myth.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Velasquez is on top in guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Velasquez drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Velasquez as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Clover screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Velasquez! Nice submission victory there!

Cain Velasquez bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
