Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Busta Rhymes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rhymes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Winter Warz kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhymes throws a lazy head kick
and Corleone counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rhymes's knee momentarily.
Corleone moves in looking to clinch but Rhymes pushes him off.
Corleone tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Rhymes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Corleone's guard.
Rhymes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Corleone works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rhymes cracks Corleone with a solid left hand.
Rhymes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Corleone has his foot on Rhymes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rhymes works his way back into a safe position though.

Corleone is looking for a triangle but Rhymes pushes his legs off easily.
Rhymes is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Rhymes stands up over Corleone, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Corleone lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rhymes!

Rhymes wants to improve his position but Corleone is controlling well.

Corleone is just content to waste time from the top position. Rhymes takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Rhymes manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Corleone manages to get himself to full guard.

Corleone lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Corleone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rhymes paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Rhymes needs to keep his hands up - Corleone had a free shot at his head there.

Rhymes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Corleone manages to avoid it.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Corleone, right into the meat.
Corleone takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Sonny Corleone has been cut.
Corleone misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rhymes.
Rhymes's corner calls for a 1-2. Rhymes obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Corleone lands with a shot to the body.
Corleone tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Rhymes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rhymes goes for a double leg but Corleone avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Corleone continues to drive forward.
Corleone is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Corleone stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Corleone lands a left hand that snaps the head of Rhymes backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rhymes creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Corleone blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Rhymes tightens his grip and picks Corleone up, before dumping him to the ground. Corleone manages to land in guard.

Corleone is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Corleone is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rhymes is just riding it out for now. Corleone eventually gives up the hold.

Corleone is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Corleone slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rhymes tries for a takedown but Corleone sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sonny Corleone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Busta Rhymes.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sonny Corleone will probably get the nod.

Rhymes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Corleone throws a hook to the side of Rhymes's head but Rhymes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Corleone throws a right hand that Rhymes ducks under and follows up with a left that Rhymes also avoids with ease.

Corleone looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Rhymes scores with a hook to the body. Corleone takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Rhymes walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Rhymes throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Rhymes ducks right into an uppercut from Corleone.
Rhymes throws a leg kick but Corleone sees it coming and moves out of range.

Corleone drops Rhymes with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rhymes looks back up at him and smiles so Corleone waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Rhymes is rocked!
Rhymes tries to get into range but Corleone steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Rhymes! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Corleone scores the big KO victory!
